A fire often starts somewhere you're not. Interconnected alarms mean a detector in the kitchen triggers every bedroom alarm at once, giving everyone maximum warning regardless of where the fire starts. California requires interconnected alarms in new construction and major remodels.

Battery-only detectors have one major vulnerability: dead batteries. Hardwired detectors run on your home's electrical system with a battery backup for outages — always on, no maintenance required. For homes without existing wiring, we can run new circuits to bring everything up to current standards.
Combo Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detectors
Carbon monoxide is odorless and just as deadly as smoke. California requires CO detectors in homes with attached garages or gas appliances. Combination smoke/CO units handle both with a single device, simplifying installation and maintenance.
