Recessed Lighting
Recessed lights are one of the most popular upgrades we install — they look clean, provide great coverage, and work in virtually any room. We plan the layout, cut openings, run wiring, and install using IC-rated airtight housings where required.
Switching to LED
Modern LEDs use 75-80% less energy and last years longer than incandescent or halogen. Some older dimmer switches aren't compatible with LED bulbs and will cause flickering — we replace incompatible dimmers at the same time so everything works correctly.
Dimmer Switches & Smart Controls
Dimmers let you set the right mood and extend bulb life. Smart switches go further — controlling lights from your phone, setting schedules, and integrating with home automation. We install both and verify wiring compatibility first.

For simple swaps at the same location, many homeowners handle it themselves. But for new fixture locations, recessed lighting, or dimmer switches — you need an electrician. Running new wiring and making panel connections aren't DIY territory.
In most cases yes, with some caveats. Insulated ceilings require IC-rated fixtures. Ceilings with living space above need airtight housings. We assess your ceiling type and recommend the right fixtures before any cutting happens.
A typical room with 6-8 lights usually takes half a day to a full day, depending on ceiling access. Rooms with attic access above are faster. Finished ceilings with no above access take more time to fish wire.
